Product Engineer (PE)
Job Description:
1. Responsible for gathering data and information on new products and emerging technologies; preparing product feasibility analysis reports; collecting industry‑specific product intelligence and drafting market research reports.
2. Responsible for design during the new product development phase (including the design of certain tooling and inspection fixtures), participates in the new product development process, and oversees the assessment and verification of the manufacturability of components and finished products.
3. Responsible for meticulously documenting the new product development process to ensure traceability and refining product drawings; conducting technical optimization and design improvements on existing products to enhance durability, adaptability, reduce weight, lower costs, and achieve other product‑enhancement objectives.
4. In accordance with product technical standards and customer requirements, prepare a list of special characteristics for the product and develop a test and experimental plan for new products.
5. Responsible for approving the trial production of new products, endorsing sample parts, and participating in process design.
6. Track the trial assembly of sample parts, collect customer feedback on product issues, and assist in resolving them.
7. Develop the outsourcing control plan and consumption quotas for new components of the product, participate in the preparation and review of process control plans, and provide process engineers with relevant technical documentation, such as packaging and transportation specifications and product identification requirements.
8. Responsible for conducting product‑related technical exchanges with customer engineers, coordinating technical standards and drawings, and converting product drawings in accordance with the customer’s specifications and documentation.
