On April 2, Jing Junhai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, conducted a field inspection in Changchun. He emphasized the need to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on the development of the private sector and the spirit of his key remarks at the symposium on advancing the all-round revitalization of Northeast China in the new era. He stressed the importance of steadfastly upholding the “two unwavering commitments,” fully unleashing the innovative vitality of private enterprises, bolstering the growth of the private sector, and fostering and cultivating more new‑type productive forces, thereby injecting strong momentum into achieving pioneering breakthroughs in Jilin’s all‑round revitalization in the new era.

On April 2, Jing Junhai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, conducted a field inspection in Changchun, visiting Xilong Display Technology Co., Ltd. to examine the company’s product innovation and R&D efforts.

Xilong Display Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xida Electronics, has developed COB‑integrated‑package LED display technologies and products that are at the international forefront. Jing Junhai conducted an on-site inspection of the smart workshop’s production and operations. Observing that the company is accelerating product innovation and R&D while actively expanding application scenarios, he expressed full appreciation and urged it to seize the significant opportunities presented by the national initiatives to carry out large‑scale equipment upgrades and consumer‑goods trade‑in programs. He encouraged the company to focus on household consumption needs, develop more low‑power, high‑performance display products, and continuously strengthen its core competitiveness and market share. Jing Junhai emphasized that the optoelectronics information industry is a key priority for fostering new‑type productive forces. He called on relevant provincial departments and the city of Changchun to proactively seek national support, help enterprises continuously upgrade their technologies, reduce costs, and improve efficiency, and ensure that technological innovation drives industrial innovation, while cluster‑based agglomeration promotes the strengthening and expansion of the sector.

Jilin Hongri New Energy Co., Ltd. is a nationally recognized “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche, specialized, and innovative fields, with many years of deep expertise in the comprehensive utilization of biomass energy and the operation of clean‑energy services. Jing Junhai conducted an in-depth review of the progress of the full‑chain project for the energy‑conversion of biomass resources, as well as the R&D efforts related to biomass fuel products and boiler equipment. He also held a symposium with the company’s leadership, encouraging them to focus on implementing the “dual carbon” strategy, to continue pursuing the integrated development of production, living, and ecology—“three‑fold integration” and “win‑win outcomes across the three spheres”—and to accelerate the energy‑conversion of biomass resources such as crop straw, thereby better aligning with and integrating into Jilin’s new‑energy industrial ecosystem. He urged the company to intensify its exploration and innovation in carbon capture technologies and carbon‑trading models, striving to achieve breakthroughs at an early stage, take the lead in emerging areas, and secure new competitive advantages.

At Zhiyuan New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. and Haochi Automotive Electronics Systems Co., Ltd., Jing Junhai conducted on-site inspections of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) and high-pressure hydrogen supply systems, as well as the production of automotive electronic products, and highly commended the companies’ effective practices of strategically positioning themselves at the forefront of technological innovation and continuously increasing R&D investment. He emphasized that advancing new‑type productive forces hinges on scientific and technological innovation. Enterprises must fully assume their role as the main drivers of innovation, further deepen industry–university–research–application collaborations with research institutes, higher education institutions, and key enterprises, and facilitate the translation of more scientific and technological achievements into real productive capacity. They should also consistently strengthen their internal capabilities in scientific and technological R&D, focusing on building platforms, attracting talent, and enhancing efficiency, thereby propelling corporate development to new heights.

During the field research, Jing Junhai emphasized that to advance Jilin’s high-quality development and sustainable revitalization, it is essential to fully leverage the vital role of the private sector. Party committees and governments at all levels across the province must always treat private enterprises and private entrepreneurs as their own, introduce more preferential policies tailored to small and medium-sized businesses, continuously improve the business environment, help resolve practical challenges, and support, encourage, and guide the healthy development of the private economy. Private enterprises should seize opportunities in cultivating the “Four Major Clusters,” developing the “Six New Industries,” and building the “Four New Infrastructures,” further strengthening independent innovation and enhancing their competitiveness, thereby making new and greater contributions to fostering new‑type productive forces in Jilin and achieving the goals of “Two Guarantees and One Pioneering Role.” Private entrepreneurs, for their part, should vigorously promote the spirit of outstanding entrepreneurs, striving to set an exemplary standard of patriotism, dedication, law-abiding operations, entrepreneurial innovation, and social responsibility, truly embodying the principles of wealth with accountability, wealth with righteousness, and wealth with compassion.
