Recently, the OMAN Galaxy Spring Festival product showcase was held in Beijing.
At the event, following rigorous professional testing by experts from China Automotive Research Institute—covering coasting, acceleration, steep-grade climbing, automatic emergency braking, lane‑departure warning, and retarder braking—the OMAN Galaxy ultimately earned dual certifications as both an “Intelligent Safety Heavy Truck” and an “Efficient‑Performance Heavy Truck.” This recognition follows the OMAN Galaxy’s earlier win of the “2022 China Truck of the Year (CTOY 2022)” award, underscoring once again its authoritative endorsement by a leading testing organization and highlighting its formidable, market‑leading capabilities.

In 2021, China’s heavy-truck market closed with sales of 1.395 million units. According to the latest data from First Commercial Vehicle Network, in December 2021, China’s heavy-truck market is expected to have sold 53,000 units across all models (based on invoicing figures), up slightly by 4% month-on-month but down 52% year-on-year. This marks the lowest December sales level in the past six years (2016–2021), marginally higher than the November 2021 trough of 51,100 units, yet roughly 56,000 units lower than the same period last year.

Save 110,000 yuan in just 10 months—choosing the right car is key if you want to cut costs.
Last October, Master Wang purchased a Hongyan LNG tractor. After putting it to work for a while, he gave it his full approval: “Since switching to the Hongyan Jielishi C6 LNG tractor, I’ve cut my fuel costs by nearly 50% compared with my previous diesel rig.” During use, Master Wang made a rough calculation: a diesel truck costs about 221 yuan per 100 kilometers, whereas the SAIC Hongyan natural‑gas model comes in at just 117 yuan per 100 kilometers. Based on his current mileage—roughly 104,000 kilometers over ten months—he’s already saved 110,000 yuan, truly making him a standout when it comes to cost‑saving!

New-energy heavy-duty truck sales soared in December!
In December 2021, the new-energy heavy-truck market could no longer be described simply as “reaching a new high”; instead, terms like “off the charts” and “explosive growth” were more fitting.
Why did sales of new-energy heavy trucks surge to unprecedented levels in the final month of 2021? And how did this segment perform over the entire year?
Read on for an analysis from First Commercial Vehicle Network.
As is well known, in 2021, China’s new-energy heavy-truck market experienced sustained, rapid growth, emerging as one of the most dynamic segments within the broader heavy-truck industry. Particularly after the second half of the year, while the conventional fuel‑powered heavy-truck market languished, new-energy heavy trucks continued to set record highs, with monthly sales figures repeatedly broken—truly commanding attention and becoming the standout performer in the second-half heavy-truck market.
